Transcription (front):
Butter Balls
1 c. butter softened
1 c. 10x sugar divided (¼ c)
2 t. vanilla
⅛ t. salt
2 c. flour
1 c. ground walnuts
in bowl cream butter with
¼ c. sugar til light + fluffy
Beat in van. + salt. Stir in
flour + nuts very well. Divide
dough into 4 portions, wrap
each in wax paper. Chill 30 min
Remote 1 portion at a time,
shape into 1” balls. Place on
ungreased cookie sheet. Bake
in oven 350° 16-18 min pale
golden remove to cooling
rack for 5 min then roll
in remaining 10x (sugar will
partly melt into cookie)
