Job Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Bachelor’s degree with at least 36 semester hours in Library Sciences, Media Services, or related field required<\/p>\n

2. Graduate training and\/or degree in the above areas or a related field preferred;<\/p>\n

3. Massachusetts educator’s licensure with appropriate code;<\/p>\n

4. Satisfactory, supervised experience within the last five years as a specialist, student teacher, intern, or apprentice at the secondary or college level within a media services program;<\/p>\n

5. Knowledge of teaching the use of electronic media as a course of study and\/or as an educational service;<\/p>\n

6. Facility with current technology in the field of Media Services;<\/p>\n

7. Audio\/Visual knowledge is a plus;<\/p>\n

8. Experience with diverse populations and commitment to Wayland’s goals of diversity and inclusion;<\/p>\n

9. Possess those personal and professional characteristics necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position.<\/p>\n
