This intern reports to the Head of Reader Services. Compensation is $13 per hour with no benefits, and the position is classified as temporary.<\/p>\n<p>?<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide coverage of the circulation and reference desks; answer phones, shelve books; offer basic reference service<\/li>\n<li>Create reader advisory materials<\/li>\n<li>Research<\/li>\n<li>Maintain usage statistics<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>?<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be enrolled in a library science master&#8217;s program<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to lift 40 lbs. of books<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>?<\/p>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualification:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed Reference Course<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>?<\/p>\n<p>Starts immediately.
