Part-Time Substitute Librarian – Beverly Public Library, Children’s<\/span>
Department: This is a part-time fill-in position. Works under the general<\/span>
direction of the Head of the Children’s Department. Responsible for<\/span>
working at a public service desk, providing reference service, checking<\/span>
out books, ?placing holds, and offering reader’s advisory service. Must<\/span>
work well independently as well as part of a team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Applicant must have a Master’s Degree in Library or Information Science<\/span>
from a graduate school accredited by the American Library Association<\/span>
(Staff Librarian level) OR currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree program<\/span>
in Library or Information Science from a graduate school accredited by the<\/span>
American Library Association with half or more courses completed,<\/span>
including a course in Reference (Librarian I level).<\/span><\/p>\n

Salary: $ 16.81 per hour (Librarian I level), $23.70 per hour (Staff<\/span>
Librarian level)<\/span><\/p>\n
