Applicants must?<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.62\">be students currently enrolled in the Archives Management program with<\/span><br \/> a graduation date after May 2014, and be available to work 3 days?per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:00. This position is focused exclusively on?<span style=\"line-height: 1.62\">processing and providing access to the records of the Tufts Medical Center.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<p> ? ?* ? ?Arrangement and Description: arranging and describing ?the historical?<span style=\"line-height: 1.62\">records of the Tufts Medical Center and related hospitals; enhancing existing?<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.62\">collection description; rehousing and basic preservation activities<\/span><br \/> ? ?* ?Reference: researching and responding to requests by phone and?<span style=\"line-height: 1.62\">email; welcoming and overseeing researchers in the reading room;?<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.62\">fulfilling scanning and other digitization requests for patrons;?<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.62\">retrieving and reshelving materials<\/span><\/p>\n<p> Candidates should be capable of working fairly independently in a?<span style=\"line-height: 1.62\">fast-paced archives environment and comfortable juggling multiple?<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.62\">tasks and demands. Excellent written and oral communication skills<\/span><br \/> required.
