Johnny Mathis, born John Royce Mathis on September 30, 1935 is a singer, songwriter and actor. Many of his albums have received gold or platinum status, and 73 making the Billboard charts. He was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998 for the single “Chances Are”, in 2002 for the single “Misty” and in 2008 for the single “It’s Not for Me to Say”. Mathis was also inducted into the Great American Songbook Hall of Fame on June 21, 2014. 

Ray Conniff (November 6, 1916 – October 12, 2002), born Joseph Raymond Conniff, in Attleboro Massachusetts, was an American bandleader and arranger known for his contributions as band member and arranger for the Artie Shaw big band, working as a home arranger for Columbia Records and backing many singles with his orchestra. Ray Conniff started the Ray Conniff singers in 1959 and recorded over 90 albums with 28 albums in the American Top 40 from 1957-1968.
